Boyd Crystal Art Glass, Inc. made this chocolate McKee style hen
using the top
mould owned by
the National Milk Glass Collectors Society and the base mould owned by Boyd.
The convention was held at Wheaton Village in Millville,
NJ on June 26 through June 29, 2003.
This McKee style hen is different from the one used in the 1992
commemorative. Because there were two different batches of glass, there is
a slightly
lighter version of this chocolate hen.
This is the fourth commemorative made using the moulds
purchased by the Society at the L. G. Wright Auction in May of 1999.
