convention 2002...NMGCS Convention 2002Photo Tour(Also See Past Conventions and Auctions) The 2002 NMGCS convention was held at the Dallas / Fort Worth Marriott in Irving, Texas on June 26 through June 29, 2002 and was hosted by hosted by Arlene Johnson. Many thanks to all who helped make the a memorable occasion. The commemorative for the 2002 convention was the white owl on a split-ribbed base. Commemoratives are only available to members and are limited to first come, first served. The auction was held on Friday afternoon at 2:00 PM and it consisted of a wide variety of opaque glass pieces. Ed Kulhman, the auctioneer, did his usual fantastic job of getting through each item.
