CommentsInteresting Site. I checked this site because of a pair of very old milk glass cruets my mother-in-law gave to me about 30 years ago. She said they were valuable. I haven't seen anything like them in the books I've looked through or on your site or others. How can I learn more about them?

CommentsI was looking at your site and looking for some information on the marking that I might find on milk glass. I have some pieces that have been in the family that I am trying to identify. One of the markings I have is either a capital G over W or it could be a W over the G. Both letters are directly over each other. The other mark is a capital G with what looks like a staff running through it vertically. The top of the staff has a cross and the bottom has a upside down v. i would appreciate any information that you might be able to give me. Yhank you for any help you can provide. I look forward to you response
