Smiling Sun Bottle

Shown here is a truly unique and different bottle. The body of the bottle is milk glass. The facial features are molded in the glass and were then painted to give a very realistic look to the face. The bottle was then placed on an easel type stand with metal rays of varying lengths.

A spigot was then mounted at the base for easy access to the contents. The top of the bottle has a cork and the bottle probably only held about a half pint of liquid. The bottle stands an impressive 10 3/4 inches high. The manufacturer and dates are unknown.

Additional information can be found in Yesterday's Milk Glass Today by Regis and Mary Ferson on page 102.
